Michael Gilbertie is an American filmmaker, who was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He began his filmmaking journey at a young age by imitating many of his favorite movies in his backyard with his friends and a camera. Gradually, though, he would improve his craft and begin releasing films under the banner of Lexington Productions, so named after the road his childhood home sat on.

Over the years, Lexington Productions has put out short films of various genres, and has garnered acclaim from film festivals all over the world.
